A man charged with murdering a south Auckland mother has appeared in court and can now be named.
Ephraim Joseph Beazley appeared briefly in front of Justice Simon Moore at the High Court in Auckland on Wednesday.
A 34-year-old Flat Bush woman, Xi Wang, died after being violently attacked at her home on December 10.
On Wednesday, Beazley was remanded without plea until March 6.
In December at Beazley's first appearance in the Manukau District Court a suppression order was made suppressing his identity and the details of the charge.
This included the suppression of the victim's identity, her relationship to the accused and how he allegedly killed her.
